Whilst in Blackpool we decided that we would visit Madame Tussauds as the kids have never been. Upon entering all the staff looked really happy. We were directed by attentive staff outside exactly where to go to pay. Once at the till a really polite girl greeted us immediately. I had been collecting the Adults go free ticket’s from the Kellogg’s boxes so I paid for 4 Children and Shane, Kieran and Myself all went in free. We bought the optional drinks in the Rovers Return and we were glad we did. It made a good refreshment stop for us all. Also i bought a guide as I’m a bit of a soft touch if the kids want one. In total I paid £82.00 for entry, guide and drinks.
And we were in.
As we entered we left our pushchair in the buggy park and off we went. The boys were mesmerized by the wax models of the celebrities and were keen to be photographed with them. It was fairly quiet to start with so taking time to take photos was not a problem. There was a point where we caught up with more people and then it became trickier with people stood in the way. The First photo opportunity came with Ant and Dec as if they were presenting I’m a celebrity. It would have been a really good photo but Ben had other ideas and really didn’t want to have his photo taken. We tried to get him in the photo but this caused him to end up having a mini melt down. Well after all it wouldn’t be a good day out without one of the kids having a meltdown over something.

Off to the pub
Moving on we carried on looking at the models and taking more photos. More photo opportunities cropped up as we progressed round, there was lots of interactive activities that you could take part in. By the time we finally arrived at the Rovers Return everyone was ready for a drink. I also bought us all some bar snacks whilst we were there, it would have been rude not to really.

Feeling refreshed
After a quick rest and feeling refreshed we carried on through to the end. Spotting the celebrities was great fun and trying to guess who they were and getting involved with the activities. The Superhero’s were a big hit and they loved having their photo taken with Spiderman. They also liked the sports section, seeing football players, the boxer and the darts player. We all had a really fab time.

Time to leave
At the end we purchased the photos we had had taken. Despite being disappointed with the Blackpool Tower photos I was really pleased with the Madame Tussauds photos, they all came out far better. It was £35 well spent for the photos. A final stop at the shop and leaving a further £33.20 lighter after buying goodies like key rings, clapper boards and a hulk mask we all left.
We all had a fantastic time and it was a far better experience of a merlin attraction than the Tower. All the staff at Madame Tussauds were polite, happy and more than happy to help. We will definitely return again.
