Sundown Adventureland is a fantastic day out for all the family and is aimed at children 10 years and under. Alex is 12 now and he still loves going. He gets the full benefit as much as the others do. We often visit Sundown and we like it so much we even have annual passes! It’s a fantastic day out that the kids just love and they can run about and explore all the different themed areas whilst being safe.
Once inside there are loads of rides and play areas that the kids can run off and explore.
Themed areas
Sundown Market where all the fruits and veg talk and sing.
The musical pet shop where again the kids are able to press a button to make the animals sing.
Fort Apache is perfect for running, climbing and sliding.
Rodeo Corral has an indoor play area and café. It’s perfect for adults to have a sit down and cup of tea whilst the kids play indoors.

The Rocky Mountain Railroad ride is perfect fun for all the family to enjoy.

Lollipoppet Castle smells sweet just like candy. It also allows the kids to have a run about a sweet smelling and colourful castle.
The Tractor ride is a lovely ride around at a steady pace letting you enjoy the talking and singing animals as you go.
Smugglers Cove Outdoor Play Area.

Jolly Pirate Ride is the water ride and wets you as you ride in a barrel. Beware of the pesky pirates that pop up out of barrels with water guns.
Captain Sandy’s Play Cove is the perfect stop off for a play in the sand.

Storybook Village is a great one for the toddlers. They can venture into the houses of their favourite characters such as the 3 little pigs.

Lots to do inside and out
Crash Landings is another huge indoor play area with a jungle theme. Perfect for the kids to play whilst the adults have another sit down. There is a cafe for refreshments and maybe a snack or two.
The Robin Hood Ride lets you travel through Sherwood Forest like you are one of his Merry Men.

Angry Birds Activity Park is a really bright and colourful outdoor soft area for the kids to play on. It hosts Okie Yolkie ride, Giddy Piggies and the Ostrich ride.

You must also pay a visit to the Monkey at Monkey Mischief and watch them sing and dance.
All around the adventure land there are little shops and ice cream kiosks to keep you topped up with refreshments
All rides and soft play are all included in the entry fee so there are no hidden surprises once you are inside.
Themed Events

During the year they also hold themed events such as Halloween and Christmas. They really do make a real effort to make it look magical. We have visited at both Halloween and Christmas and it is amazing and well worth going. We visit all year round as we decided that we would buy the annual passes and I’m so glad we did as we have really got our moneys worth.
